Social Media is neither minimalistic or materialistic. It creates gyres of exclusion and inclusion where wheels of perception grind and crush leaving superficiality in it’s wake. To survive untouched by this is impossible; everyone in this circle has a new reality imposed one filled with falsities and emptiness.
Only two schemes of colour can be employed during Christmas Time: a simple white or deep greens and reds. The latter scheme should be used with concern and consideration to the negativity surrounding decadence, for colours themselves have the ability to wreck the aesthetics of form. The decorations should be used in places of common use and only for a short duration, two weeks: one either side of the day itself.
